The much anticipated all new, updated Encyclopaedia of Recreational Diving is finally available from PADI International Limited. An excellent Christmas gift, the new version is printed in full colour on glossy paper and packed with photos and illustrations as well as all the most current information on dive theory, equipment, the aquatic realm and much more.
Required material for the PADI Divemaster Course and the IDC, the Encyclopaedia is a valuable addition to any diver’s library. Designed to appeal to divers at all levels of training, the revised version has been written with more of a light hearted, fun approach, a clearer layout, more colour images and is easily navigable via user friendly colour chapter bars.
Of course the style is not the only thing to have been brought right up to date. The information within is as comprehensive as ever but now includes more detail on newer topics such as dive computers, rebreathers, decompression theory and other recent developments in diving.
